Brown seaweed is an algae rich with iodine. It is prescribed for goiter. It stimulates the production of thyroidal hormones. Helps for weight loss.

It is used in a variety of ways besides for the treatment of goiter. It acts on the metabolism by gently stimulating the production of thyroidal hormones.

It is prescribed also for the treatment of rheumatism.
