Properties and usage:

For gas elimination, and a tonic, it expels mucous. Stimulant.

Effects on the organism:

Hyssop has sedative as well as tonic properties. It effectively treats bronchitis and respiratory afflictions, especially when accompanied by abundand secretions. It liquefies mucous in the lungs, thus facilitating its expectoration.

Due to its sedative properties, hyssop is effective for asthma in both adults and children.

It has an appeasing effect on the digestive system and is an effective remedy for indigestion, flatulence and colic. It is also an expectorant.

Hyssop lubricates the liquid of the internal tissues and removes debris to allow the surfaces to absorb and eliminate effectively. It helps to keep one in good health.

Caution: its essential oil should not be used because it is toxic. There is danger of an epileptic fit.
