Properties and usage:

Has calming effects, but is better known for its delicate perfume than for its therapeutic virtues. It helps to calm nerves, also relieves migraine and headaches. It promotes gas elimination and acts as an antidepressant, antiseptic and antibacterial.

Effects on the organism:

The calming effect of lavender is well known. Associated to other sedative plants, it fights insomnia, irritability, headaches, and depression.

It treats indigestions and colics and eliminates bloating. Its action is efficient for various types of asthma, specifically when provoked by nervousness.

Lavender is antiseptic. It accelerates the healing of burns and wounds, calms inflammation due to insect bites. It is used for scabies and lice.
